Fioricet Customer Reviews

Fioricet contains a combination of acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and fever reducer. Butalbital is in a group of drugs called barbiturates. It relaxes muscle contractions involved in a tension headache. Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant. It relaxes muscle contractions in blood vessels to improve blood flow.

Fioricet is used to treat tension headaches that are caused by muscle contractions.

You should not use Fioricet if you have porphyria, or if you have recently used alcohol, sedatives, tranquilizers, or other narcotic medications.

Do not use Fioricet if you have taken an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, and tranylcypromine.

Do not take more Fioricet than is recommended. An overdose of acetaminophen can damage your liver or cause death. Call your doctor at once if you have nausea, pain in your upper stomach, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes).

In rare cases, acetaminophen may cause a severe skin reaction. Stop taking this medicine and call your doctor right away if you have skin redness or a rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling.

The most frequently reported adverse reactions are drowsiness, dizziness, sedation, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and intoxicated feeling.

Taking high doses of Fioricet can cause you to build a tolerance to the medication, leading to a need for greater and greater amounts of the drug to achieve the same effect. Eventually, someone can build both a physical and psychological dependence on the medication. Withdrawal occurs when you stop taking Fioricet and includes symptoms such as convulsions and delirium.

Fioricet may cause withdrawal reactions, especially if it has been used regularly for a long time or in high doses. In such cases, withdrawal symptoms (such as restlessness, watering eyes, runny nose, nausea, sweating, muscle aches) may occur if you suddenly stop using this medication. To prevent withdrawal reactions, your doctor may reduce your dose gradually. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details, and report any withdrawal reactions immediately.

There are lots of pregnant women have migraine. Some doctors prescribe them Fioricet. But they are afraid fioricet cross placenta. Will Fioricet cross Placenta ? consists of a fixed combination of butalbital, acetaminophen, and caffeine.

Fioricet contains: 325 mg of acetaminophen (APAP), 50 mg of butalbital, and 40 mg of caffeine.  The max dose of acetaminophen per day is 4000 mg, and since there’s only 325 mg in Fioricet, you’ll have to take a lot at once or take them for a long time to get the damage from acetaminophen, whereas someone on warfarin takes aspirin and isn’t aware of it the effects could be immediate….The fatal liver damage from acetaminophen comes when you take it with alcohol, so if you don’t take your Fioricet with a shot you should be ok at this dose.

There are lots of online pharmacies, we donot suggest you buy fioricet online if you have liver diseases, pregnant, heart diseases, baby breasting, or have any alcohol, and drug abuse history.

Thank you for being an amazing company, I’ve been loyal since 2015 and if not for you all… I’d HONESTLY say I may not be here right now. I’d have gone off the deep end, mentally and physically…. Due to the amount of pain I had been enduring & the limited options for treatment. After being correctly diagnosed, it was discovered by the SEVENTH neurologist… I WAS NOT having migraines. Ergo, imitrex & all its similar Rxs weren’t working due to that reason. That miracle of a neurologist had finally found my painful chronic headaches that ended w/ similar migraine symptoms after 8hrs-12hrs of trying yet failing to manage my pain from 2010-2015… were Chronic Tension headaches & tension neck pain that WILL trigger migraines if not treated ASAP. After trials of Rxs causing drowsiness, & a list of bad side effects.. I was successfully treated for immediate tension pain, with fioricet.( no codeine) I take prevention Rx topamax nightly & then I discovered insurance only covered qty30 per month of fioricet. I dislike ALL OPIATES, even if they numb pain that is the last thing I wanted ( to numb my overall reaction time, etc). Fioricet doesn’t cause the zombie glazed over look but it stops my pain before it’s out of control/ I can’t afford prices of local pharmacies & qty60.. so, I thank this company for being amazing & I’ve been a customer since 2015! Diagnosed w/ MPN (rare blood-cancer in 2018 really added to my living nightmare, but luckily I’m able to take fioricet & I only need as directed! I’m happy to see they’re finally taking c.c. payments & hope future order can be paid prior to delivery to prevent roommates trying to help, & paying with personal check if I’m at oncology treatments. Last thing I need is blacklisted from an amazing company, Steve is great as is everyone here and quality medicine ALWAYS!
