What if you miss your dose?

100-150 mg per day to be taken in divided doses for example 50mg two times a day or three times a day or 75mg twice a day.

Rheumatoid arthritis

150-200 mg per day to be taken in divided doses for example 50mg three times a day or four times a day or 75mg twice a day.

For relief – Ankylosing spondylitis

Recommended dosage is

100-125 mg per day to be taken in divided doses for example 25mg four times with 25 mg extra dose at bedtime is required.

Treatment for Voltaren Overdose

Patients should be treated by supportive and symptomatic care in case of overdose. There are no particular antidotes. Activated charcoal (60-100g for adults, 1-2g/kg for children and osmotic cathartic can be indicated in cases where patient is monitored within four hours of overdose symptoms (large doses of almost 5-10 times more than normal dose). Hemodialysis, forced diuersis, urine alkanization or hemoperfusion is not found to be useful due to large protein binding.

Voltaren is not recommended for use for anyone below 18 years of age.
